Volunteer
Volunteers at our hospitals have a very important role to play. People have been volunteering their time for many years at Wellington and Kenepuru Hospitals.
A wide range of people, of different ages and backgrounds, men and women offer their time freely to help patients and visitors at our hospitals. Typically individuals offer one three hour shift per week and also casual positions. Some choose to give more time or less depending on commitments. We like to remain flexible and set hours that suit volunteers.
The Benefits of Volunteering
- Volunteers are entitled to free parking in the hospital’s car park during their shift
- After four hours of volunteer work on any given day, the volunteer is provided with a meal voucher
