Ladies Auxillary Join Hospitals & Health Foundation
2 May 2008After providing 80 years of continuous voluntary service to Wellington Hospital's medical wards and neonatal units the Wellington Hospital's Ladies Auxillary have closed their doors as an organisation and have asked the Foundation to administer the areas of Hospital Library for patients, Knitting and Quilting for the special babies in the Neo-Natal Unit.
Many of the wonderful volunteers will continue with the service and the Foundation is looking to recruit additional volunteers who have great knitting and quilting skills.
