CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL FUNDRAISING APPEAL

FRESH FUTURE

August 6th – September 30th 2007

The above National Appeal is to be launched in New Zealand for the first time this coming Monday. Woolworths, Supervalue, Fresh Choice and Countdown supermarkets throughout New Zealand are participating in the Appeal to help raise funds for New Zealand Children’s hospitals – this includes Wellington Children’s Hospital.

Other hospitals involved include Kidz First at Middlemore Hospital, Dunedin Hospital, Christchurch Hospital, Hospital and Waikato Hospital. The fundraising initiative aims to raise $1 million over a three year period for children’s health.

Participating supermarkets within the greater Wellington will be running various events to raise funds over the next eight weeks. In addition to store events, customers can text ‘kids’ to 883 to make an automatic $3-donation; place money in the donation boxes situated at check outs or online grocery shoppers can add a $1 donation onto their shopping bill.

If you are able to support this campaign by shopping at either Woolworths, Supervalue, Fresh Choice or Countdown supermarkets over the next eight weeks to support children’s health that would be great.
