Create
Knitters, Sewers and Quilters continually create items of clothing and blankets for the very small, vulnerable babies in Wellington Hospital's Neo-Natal Unit. This is a very very important service as these specialised items are not generally for sale in shops.
This service has been provided by the Wellington Hospital Ladies Auxilliary for nearly 80years. Recently the Auxilliary retired but many members choose to carry on their work under the Wellington Hospitals and Health Foundation as the Knitters, Sewers and Quilters group.
YOU TOO CAN CREATE items to be donated to the Neo-Natal Unit! Below we have the Little Onespatterns for these creations and you can contact the Foundation office on 04 918 5710 to arrange delivery of wool and collection of finished garments.
The wool has been kindly donated by Woolyarn, a Wellington Wool supplier.
